The Metro Dumaguete College Library has been serving students, faculty, and researchers since 2002. As the primary information resource center of the college, the library supports the academic programs of MDC through a carefully curated collection of books, theses, periodicals, and electronic resources.
The library is committed to providing equitable access to information and fostering a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning among the MDC community.

The library maintains a diverse collection organized under the Dewey Decimal Classification system. Holdings include circulating books, reference materials, Filipino and local publications, undergraduate theses, and an expanding e-resource section.
New acquisitions are processed and cataloged regularly. Faculty and students may recommend titles for acquisition by submitting a request at the circulation desk.
All registered MDC students, faculty, and staff are entitled to borrow materials from the circulating collection. Theses, references, and periodicals are for room use only. Borrowing privileges may be suspended for overdue or damaged materials.
